Companionship at Home

Warm, dependable support for seniors and adults who deserve comfort, respect, and connection.

At AMedCareConnection.ORG, our companions do more than just visit — they bring friendship, safety, and peace of mind right to your doorstep. Whether your loved one needs help with errands, reliable company during the day, or someone by their side for appointments, our trained team provides compassionate, one-on-one attention that keeps them engaged, active, and emotionally supported.

We understand that loneliness can impact health just as much as physical challenges.

Our companionship services are designed to improve daily mood, confidence, and overall well-being, while giving families the reassurance that someone caring is always there.

What Our Companions Provide:

  • Friendly conversation and emotional support

  • Help with errands, groceries, and meals

  • Accompaniment to appointments or outings

  • Safety check-ins and daily reassurance

  • Light home assistance and reminders

  • Social engagement to reduce isolation

Every companion is screened, trained, and aligned with our mission:

To treat your loved ones like family — with patience, dignity, and heart.

Housing Help, Hands On

AMed Care Connection.ORG Co-Living Care Program™

The AMed Care Connection.ORG Co-Living Care Program™ helps seniors remain safely and comfortably in their own homes by combining in-home support services with an agency-managed co-living model. Seniors stay in the place they love while approved adult renters share the household, creating companionship, stability, and added peace of mind.

This program is not assisted living. The home remains a private residence, and all care is delivered by AMed Care Connection.ORG as non-medical companion, homemaker, and as-needed CNA support.

How the Program Works

1. The Senior Remains in Their Home

The homeowner stays in the primary residence and receives:

  • Companionship

  • Light homemaker services

  • Meal preparation

  • Errand support

  • Daily wellness and safety checks

2. CNA Personal Care (As Needed)

AMed Care Connection.ORG provides companion, homemaker, and as-needed CNA services directly to the primary senior and eligible household members, ensuring personalized support and enhanced comfort in the co-living environment.

Personal care includes:

  • Bathing assistance

  • Dressing and grooming

  • Mobility and transfer help

  • Toileting assistance

  • Safety and comfort monitoring

Services are provided only when needed, not 24/7.

3. AMed Care Connection.ORG Leases the Unused Rooms

AMed Care Connection.ORG signs a Shared Home Agreement with the homeowner to lease the unused bedrooms.
The homeowner receives a predictable monthly lease payment and is never responsible for managing renters.

4. AMed Care Connection.ORG Manages the Co-Living Arrangement

AMed Care Connection.ORG:

  • Screens and approves renters

  • Handles all subleasing documentation

  • Coordinates renter move-ins

  • Provides ongoing household oversight

  • Ensures compliance with house rules

  • Maintains a safe, stable living environment

Renters live under the agency’s guidance and support — not the senior’s.

5. Screening, Matching & Move-In Support

AMed Care Connection.ORG provides:

  • Criminal background checks

  • Income verification

  • Reference checks

  • Compatibility assessments

  • Move-in orientation

  • Ongoing communication and support

  • 6. Shared Senior Home Agreement

This legally structured agreement between AMed Care Connection.ORG and the homeowner outlines:

    • Lease terms

    • Subleasing rights

    • House rules

    • Safety expectations

    • Care boundaries

    • Homeowner protections

    • Renter conduct requirements

This ensures the home remains a private residence, not a licensed care facility.

7. Licensed Real Estate Partner Support

When needed, AMed Care Connection.ORG partners with licensed real-estate professionals to support:

  • Room leasing structure

  • Property readiness

  • Documentation guidance

  • Safety recommendations

This helps maintain a well-organized and supportive co-living environment.
